I'll need to get on to a hard, flat surface to run a more careful check. Part of the difference may be the tires - with the R1 8-16 fronts and 16.9-24 rears, (based on the Titan site info) I've got tire diameters of 30.5 and 53 inches, with static loaded radii of 13.9 and 24 inches.

The 10-16.5/17.5L-24 R4's (if I've got the right Titan models) are listed at 30.8 and 48.8 diameters, with 13.9 and 22.3 loaded radii.

So I'm sitting maybe 1.7 inches higher in the back. (I'm not sure how my liquid ballast would effect the contact area shape, lowering or raising the static radius.)

While that should "tilt" the loader further forward, since the back end of the loader is probably sitting higher, it might also be reducing the amount of 'drop' I can get below ground level. But I haven't run a real good check yet, just a little playing around on uneven ground.

When my 4700 HST - 460 was brand new I almost dropped a $6k TIG welder when the forks rolled down while I was signing the freight bill. After a few hours of use my FEL seems to hold a load. ENJOY your green machine.
