New 855D XUV

I've had my HPX Diesel for over six years now so it's time for a new 855D XUV. I ordered it about a month ago and it came in last Friday. Naturally the accessories didn't come in at the same time so the dealer is installing them as they come in. The front fender guards and lights have been installed since these pictures. All they need now is the top and the rifle boot. I hope to get it early next week.

That does look like a mean machine, and I see that Deere continues to put in the comfortable bucket seats.

Jesse I really like that. You will really like the rear brush guard with the built in step up. It is really nice. I have been plowing with my new one and have already put over 30 fun hours on it. Let us know how it's doing for you.

Parts have been slow to come in. The top came in today, now waiting for the rifle boot. I should be able to get it tomorrow. They were installing the top and rear lights.

Finally got it home. Still missing the rifle boot but it should be in soon. There's really a night and day difference in the XUV vs the HPX. The XUV floats over rough areas that really jarred you in the HPX. Steering radius is shorter than the HPX. The windshield really makes a difference in the cold wind. I think JD has a winner.

Mine came in last week in Phoenix, still waiting for them to put the extas on. When they tell you a delivery date I wish it would be the date it will be in your driveway not in their shop waiting for me to get my hands on it!!

Any idea on who produces them for Deere? Or is actually Deere?

Between the 855 / Polaris Ranger Diesel / Kubota diesel to replace our kawasaki mule on the farm, darn thing never starts in the winter and we even keep it in a heated garage.

Our old JD Gator, we still have - one of the original 4x2's - runs like a tank even today.

I think they are buuilt here in the US. but they do have the Yanmar diesel in them. I have a Yanmar tractor that runs the same motor and haven't had any problems with it. Can't wait to get so I can give a good review!!
