New 8n owner must reads...

I'm a big believer in RTFM. I'm a new 8n owner ('51) and to avoid asking a million repetitive questions, what book(s) should I invest in getting?
I though I had heard a suggestion of the I&T FO-4 shop manual. Does this cover all model years?
Would this do it for me or are there other suggestions.

Read this forum. And all the archives.
Pay special attention to any post that has "safety" or "roll-over" or "flip over" or "accident" in the title.
Also read the forum over at ytmag.
Best info you can find is right here in the forums.

Yes you want the FO-4 manual!! You will be amazed how often you use it. Also get all the catalogs you can from the diferent parts suplyers. Gives you an idea whats out there, and how much stuff costs. Also there are a few diferent forums out there also. Hard to just stick to one becouse each brings diferent subjects to the table, and each has diferent people that can give new ideas in a problem. Mostly just play around with the tractor. You will learn a lot just by doing a simple maintance on the tractor just using the FO-4

Yep.. get the fo-4.. it covers the 9n, 2n and 8n.. all years.

You might also want the Master parts catalog.. but to save the 20$ for that one.. you can go to dennis-carpenter.com, and download his tractor catalog.pdf and it is about 95% page ofr page out of the master parts catalog.. etc... it's a 6 meg file.. but worth the download.

Don't be shy about posting ford questions. I've got a bunch of fords.. 2n, 8n, NAA, 660, etc..
