New attachments needed

Leaf blower/sucker that grinds the leaves and puts them in a front mounted bin so you can use the FEL arms to dump it.

Like J.J. said, a vibrating trencher for pulling pipes and cables. Make it so you can drive forward and see where you are going.

Front mounted hose caddy with 50ft of twin hydraulic hose so you can use hydraulic tools, like hydraulic chainsaws.

Small tree feller device... drive up to tree, put pressure on it to tip away from operator, chainsaw cuts off tree at base and it falls away from you. Tip device forward and grapple the log, back away to cutting area or brush pile. Would make quick work of 4" and under trees.

30ft manlift with outriggers. I need to put lights on my Christmas tree.

Spray rig with hydraulically operated pump.

Small bush bucket. It would be nice to have a bucket that was only 1' wide, by 1' tall, by 18" deep. Maybe a slight curve to it, for popping out bushes to transplant, remove, etc...

Actually, by rear mounting something like that on 24XX (remember the seat turns; of course, they still need steering back there!), the gains would be exactly the same as what you're saying about keeping it front. In fact even closer; perhaps the real concern is safety from flying chunks if a post broke.

That and a 6ft+ [digging depth, not length; for water lines] trencher would be awesome rear tools on a 24. Actually, the trencher would be cool back there, even without steering controls [which would still really make the 24 series complete]! Hmmmm that last part seems to be a trend I bring up everytime I talk about the PT; not an attachment per se, but the thing just begs for it.

I didn't realize the driver already came with a concrete spike option! I'll give PT credit; they must be adding tools almost as fast as we can think of things they don't have! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

They had a big concrete pad that they had to remove for their new building. When I first went to look at a post pounder, they had modified the only one left into a concrete breaker. It worked so well that they decided to offer it. Necessity is the mother... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I'll second the small "extreme duty" bucket! Even better with replaceable teeth. Actually, I think the larger machines would be alright with 2ft wide, but I bet that 1ft would be awesome on either!

Wouldn't mind a snow bucket either; essentially the LMB, but slightly deeper, slightly wider, and much taller.

How about an attachment that would be able to grab hold of a garbage can and deliver it to the curb. It could also be used to pick up plant containers. It could also pick up 55 gal drums.

I believe they are reading these post. They would be stupid not to read them as it gives them user knowledge and indirect feedback. I don't think we will ever get the credit for new ideas. Their latest new product was the tree shear and the fence roller. No one has posted anything about either of them. I would like to have a good technical manual for my machine. It is older than most on the site. PT-1445 with gas engine. and three hydraulic pumps.
