New ATV Sub-Forums

Hi Everybody,

We just added several sub-forums to the ATV section to cover some of the more popular ATV brands in more detail.

These sections will be included in our upcoming ATV channel, which will allow for browsing of all ATV topics in a simple forum display area (look for that by the end of this week).

My FAMILY own 5 POLARIS ATVS,so ill be checking in there.,[ its our favorite pasttime]I do all our own service and repairs. Ihave questions at times ,and mabey i can help others.My current fleet:

for the record i also serviced Hondas and KAWASAKIS for friends,
I am also PRESIDENT of the NARROW GAUGE RIDERS ATV club here in western MAINE ,and our club are members of ATV MAINE in case any one needs any MAINE info on riding here.

I'm not sure that so much subdivision is good. There has been minimal traffic in the ATV forum, I think having a bunch of subforums will make them all dead.

I have one Honda 400, a Yamaha 400 and a Kubota RTV. I'm not going to watch several dead forums.

i agree that this is overkill --

-- the RTV forum is pretty much dead as-is, and now it's more dead.

i have my own vbulletin forum, and less is definitely more.

anyway, it is what it is -- this was always a corporate-feeling big-brother site, with plenty of moderation and censorship, and now i feel like its less user-friendly.

Better drop in the Kioti UTV sub-categry too. It is just about ready to be released.

We're going to have a new display format for ATV/UTV forums that will make the sub-forum categorization logical---sorry we couldn't launch everything at once but please give it a few more days to see how we plan to implement the change. If it's not a good improvement, we'll go back to the old way.

Basically, yes... we will take your feedback into consideration when we decide if we are going to keep it the way it is or go back to the old way.

At first I didn't know what to make of the new sub divisions of the atv utv but since I have just bought a Kawasaki mule I thought about it and liked the idea. That way I could read topics that is aimed at the Kawasaki owners, but I see now that it isn't there now.
In the past most of the posts were directed at kabota and gator and most of them were such that I decided I didn't want either one of them. If I was considering buying one again I could look at each group individually and use that as a gauge as to whether the owners were having a lot of trouble out of them and what the trouble is, and it would be at the same place. I would also be able to get information from felllow mule owners.
