The tennis ball would work for me, except I was backing it into the garage. I was watching the right side to get is as close as possible and WHAM!!! All the way home I kept telling myself, don't forget to lower the ROPS. Hit so hard it knocked the bolt out of the fender attachment. Hope I didn't mess it up where it attaches at the PTO housing. Everything looks fine.

For low bridges etc. I have seen a supported overhead beam with chains hanging from it to warn drivers if they will exceed the clearance. This is placed well before the bridge etc.

Don't you just hate when that happens /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif! Here is a tip for you that may help. When you leave your garage, lower the door. If you have a remote control, place some valcro on the inside of the roll bar and on the control and stick it to the bar. Now you have to look at the bar before opening the door, just a bit of an anticedent that may help you.
