aesanders, I had a 16' and it was tight. IMHO, 18' would be a good fit. On the pic is my B3030 TLB on a 16' dual axle aluminum trailer.
As you can see, you have some options:
<ul type="square"> 1) you could curl the loader bucket over the front of the trailer or
2) (the picture) you turn the backhoe sideway so you can close the tailgate
3) if you don't have a tailgate, you could let the backhoe straight but it'll go beyond the rear of the trailer
4) you buy a longer trailer (like my dealer on the 2nd pic) [/list]
