New b7800-need advice

I went with the Kubota 60 inch mid-mount mowing deck, primarily because I needed maneuverability--at least more than would be available with a rear finishing mower. The one thing I'd do different would be to move up to a 72" MMM because the 60"isn't much wider than the tractor with turf tires.

At any rate I've been very happy with my B7800 so far. :D

I use a 60" Woods Brushbull on my B7800 and find it to be a good fit. I use it on fields and on woods roads - some of which I put in with this combination. If I didn't have the FEL on the tractor I'd have had to add front weights. I know it's in back when it's raised up, but the tractor has powered it through anything I've driven it over. I don't think anything larger that this would work for me. Best wishes.

I've got a Woods BB60X bush hog on mine. I think it's a perfect match.

Also got a Land pride Quick Hitch... I don't need the upgraded lift arms..

Good luck with your new tractor.. I can't imagine how anyone could not love a B-7800!

It has the mid pto.I don't know if I got screwed or not,but the tractor was 11,100 and the fel was 3700.They're putting on the replacement seat and r4 tires they had 3 and this was the last one.

I was thinking if I could find out what parts I needed, upgrading to the telescoping lower links-the parts guy siad he didn't know what would fit.

You didn't get screwed on the tractor's price but the FEL is steep at 3,700. Retail list is 3295.00 with control valve. You won't regret getting the midmount mower from Kubota but negotiate price with the Dealer. Start about 2,800.00 and if you get it for 3,000.00 you did alright. Either way go with a 72" mower with the HP you have at PTO you won't be happy will less. The blade tip speed is phenomenal which gives you a great finished cut appearance.

I have the mid-mount 72 inch mower and the 6 foot box blade.

I love them both. You don't know it yet but your new B7800 can handle a LOT!

I just redid a 900ft. gravel driveway with my blade and I had no problems at all. I am very glad I got the larger boxblade.

As for the midmount mower, it's wonderful. I finish mow 6 acres with it and the place looks like a golf course when I get done mowing.

I don't remove the deck in the winter, I just pin it in the up position.
