Dan,

Not exactly sure of your question, but if you are refering to hydraulic circuits, all PTs (422 and above) have standard joy stick control of up/down and dump/curl for any front mounted attachment including various buckets (180 has two levers).

All models 422 and above also have an auxilliary circuit used for the hydraulic Quick Attach latches and for any attachment utilizing a hyd cylinder (mini hoe, blade power angle, grapple bucket, etc.).

All PTs have a hydraulic PTO circuit for attachments utilizing a hyd motor (mowers, tillers, etc.). This circuit is unidirectional and operated via a on/off toggle switch.

Hope this answered your question.

Now he wants to come over a demo mine...small world!.......I think you'll be happy(as I am sof far)...looks like you've got some tools for some up-coming projects?

Aha. The reorganized engine compartment is much more logical now. Let's hope they stick with this for a while.

Thanks, Pajoube. Both pumps are mounted in front of the engine. You are correct, there is a heat shield where the muffler used to be. Terry had said their goal was to get heat out of the engine compartement, so now the muffler is outside. The exhaust points down and kicks up quite a bit of dust when I'm over the dirt.

The bar tires do work great. Unfortunately they are not fool proof, as I went over a sharp stick in the woods today and had a big "pop". Didn't leak too bad and I was able to keep working. Picked up some slime today and will fix it tomorrow.

Will that hydraulic filter come out w/o taking the tank off?

Absolutely. In fact, all the filters are easy to reach. No need to remove the gas tank at all.

My profile lists the implements. I bought everything I thought I'd use over the next couple years. My thinking on the power dumper was that I was getting not only a trailer, but 2 turf tires and quick attach plate with a ball hitch fitting. So with 2 more turf tires I had a complete set of each.

Congratulations! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

WOW! Another re-design. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I like the gas tank where yours is. And I like the pumps all in front of the engine. Just wish they could have kept your hydraulic filter up high for easy change. Mine is where yours is and it makes for a little mess on change. Other than that, you did good! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

"" The exhaust points down and kicks up quite a bit of dust when I'm over the dirt. ""

There may be a simple fix for this!
On my DR Chipper the exhaust blew right at me! After carefully measuring the inside and outside of it's exhaust pipe, I found that a 3/4" copper plumbing elbow fit inside the pipe! Since it was slightly loose, I inserted a thin piece of wire into the pipe, then drove the elbow in nice and tight! The exhaust has been going in the right direction ever since!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I am surprised that the exhaust is directed downward!! I doubt that the exhaust has a spark arrestor on it!! Be real careful in the woods or in dry grassland during the fire season!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I wish the 422 engine area was layed out like yours....your battery is very accessible and you say the oil filter is too!!?? My battery is buried in the lower area and it appears the gas tank and possibly heat shield will need to be removed for me to get at my oil filter. I don't have too much of a problem with the exhaust but I have learned to wait until the dirt lane we have is damp before I try to mow the grass/weeds along side it....gets like that old Kansas song..."Dust In The Wind"!(or more like in my face! LOL).... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
