New Battery for 3320

Might you post the various part numbers - can't read them in your
pics - like the battery hold-down clamp, cables (since the battery
posts are reversed), and any other little gotcha's.

I've contacted my dealer and was showing him your pics.
So far, no corrosion on my 3520, but why wait for it to happen.

Hello, Sorry for the slow response on this. I have contacted the service man that did this rework. He will provide me with the part numbers with in the next day or so. They have did more than just mine and it seems that there is some differences even with in the same model. My tractor had less room to work with than some. This required some modifications and it also made new battery cables necessary. I will provide the info as I recieve it.

Thanks for the photos. Looking forward to the other info when
the service guy can get to it.

Got word from my Deere dealer in Lebanon that Deere doesn't
suggest the spiral IF you have the high capacity alternator which
I do...gerrr!

Talked to the wife and she said they got about 6 inches or so
the other day. The 3520 made easy pickin's of the snow.

Possible BIG!! snow headed your way about Thursday of next week...
maybe. Three weather models from the US/UK/Canada all agree for
once. No details yet.

Darn! I'm in Maryland and miss all the seat time. Plus, I still
haven't got to try the Grasshopper with the rotary broom for that
well-finished look.

Looking at those last pictures Tim it looks like the dealer mounted a new battery "tray" directly on top of the existing stock tray to accommodate the larger battery... could that be? I can see the front lip of the stock tray immediately below the front of the larger tray. That also would explain the seperation I see between the new tray and the frame below it. I wonder how they secured this new tray, or if they are relying on the hold down bolts to keep everything in place?
