New blade broke!

My blade had a nut welded to the plate on the blade.When I angled the blade you could wach the bolt turn. There was enough threads sticking through the nut that I could put a tack weld on it. That solved my problem.

Looks like a 1" bolt holds the entire blade on with the asistance of the angle pin. What a cheap excuse for a design. Must be made for 8hp and below. Can't believe a dealer would have the notion it would work or be worth 1k. Call me an over builder but when I get done it usually stays together.
I just rebuilt my King Kutter back blade after twisting the cheap 3 1/2" thin wall pipe they used for attaching the blade. I used the same diameter pipe but with a 3/4" wall. It will not fail at this point I can guarantee.
