Welcome and enjoy that new tractor. I've already put over 50 hours on mine and never left my ten acres :) at 50 hours when changing the oil
One thing I can suggest is to get a piece of tin and bend it over the frame rails just under the oil filter to keep the oil from running down and getting all over the frame.
Good luck and enjoy

WOW! I hoped I would be pleased with my 8n but WOW! lol
This weekend was my first with it - Saturday morning 2am - 100' oak falls and closes our road...we had the road open by 8:30...cut and cleaned up by noon. So far I like the CVT trans - it is similar to a forklift

New owner here too. Added 20 hours in no time - FUN! Lights seem to always be blocked by the fat bar spanning the FEL, so it's great at casting shadows ;) But hey, what an awesome tractor. Replaced my 30hp Kubota with this and I don't miss the cab, much. Some people have been saying this tractor is a terrible idea - so far so good. I was just wondering about the steering - anyone else get a kind of jittery weakness just before oversteering? CVT is awesome - dealer did a full PDI, updated software (so I have not experienced disengagement on hills under load), and something they did to the go pedal to correct wiring. Canopy on order. P1120982.jpg I was worried about wrecking the grill without the (yikes) $600 grill guard - but have cleared a ton of bush with the FEL and it just pushes through everything, I can even dig out the older stumps, where my Kubota would have just stalled. Clearance is good and weight is right for some of my more mushy terrain. Tool bucket is a bit of a PITA, and fuel tank as back shelf limits what I can add there for storing gear - anyone rigged up a chainsaw holster? I have no idea how to set computer yet - maybe I don't need to - mine didn't come with a manual. Urethane seat is flaking away in places - oil/grease reaction? What does a new seat cost - as a unique part - I may want to have a spare for a few years down the road. Clearance is great, but I have already wrecked one of my steps = better than the hydraulics it protected! Glad I didn't have the chrome option there, was easily hammered back into shape. Anyone know where to get 8N parts for less than what a dealer would charge? I'd like to get some of the chromey bits - for the right price...
