Hmm.. I may be interested at that price too.

40k for that thing when it came out was insane.

I heard a story where a dealer tried to sell some to a group of farmers at an event and when they heard the price they all laughed and walked away.

The chrome is a little spooky though. I wonder how it will look in 10 years?

you can get a MX5100 HST 4x4 ROPS an LA844 for $25,000.an its a 52hp as well.glad to hear they have dropped the 8n boomer prices.

I don't like the chrome ROPS. It makes me cringe every time I see it. I know the real farmers will mock me for it. I think I'll have a smug smile every time I see that chrome ROPS, though, because I think that kept some farmers from buying the units (along with the too, too high price), and that is why I was able to get one at a great price.

That is a smoking deal for a tractor with only 6 hours! New tractors on the lot can have that. Somebody is going to get lucky!

BigBull, you're right. The MX5100 is a good deal. But it is not similarly equipped to the 8N. For my money, the 8N is far the better deal.

But, your mileage may vary, as they say.
