Folks, I'm so stoked! Put a deposit on a new B7500DT Monday. Worked out details w/ dealer today. Due to budget [per family's Sr. Acct., AKA Other half.. ], looked like attachments were to be limited to a RFM & a box scraper. Got with bank this week and with dealer today. With Mom's blessing and some co-operation from dealer, settled on tractor, mower, scraper AND FEL (YIPPEE!!!) for $11,500 to be delivered a week from tomorrow. Anyone have any spare livestock tranquilizers to get me thru next week? *grin*

Congratulations!

I am sure that you will be in "hog heaven" when you get to playing in the dirt.

I don't have any of the chemical mood altering stuff you are looking for. (better living through chemicals) I just use the adult beverage foamy stuff.

I hope that the dealer has been truthfull with you. My loader took 2 weeks longer than initially promised.

Congrats on the B7500. You're really going to enjoy owning one. I've had mine only a short time but, she's a sweet machine. She makes work fun!! Hang on, it'll be there before you know it. Enjoy.

Thanx for the congrats' & welcomes, folks.

Have to reitterate a post I placed in General/Owning-Operating.

I was going to purchase a Massey 1205, but after test-driving the 'Bota and MF back-to-back found there was no comparison.

I just found TBN last Saturday afternoon and really appreciate all the great info you folks are posting.

I hope so as well, Don. The dealer says he averages 2 deliveries of attachments per week & could most likely have me set up before Sat. Unfortunately, 9/7 will be my next day off to accept. =(

Kind of interesting aside. Where I live in East TN is BIG Massey country. See red everywhere you look.

The MF dealer here is long established. They only recently picked up Kubota. I initially was talking to 1 of 2 brothers who own dealership before he introduced me to 1 of his sales people. B4 passing me to sales guy, he made it VERY obvious he was biased towards Massey.

What a shame. I don't know about the big tractors, but in final fit & finish, ergonomics (i.e. not having control lever knobs and drive tunnel all over your legs and feet), percieved power, and standard features ( i.e. full lift hood, comfortable adjustable seat, power steering, retractable seat belt, etc.), the 'Bota beat every other machine I tested. List included MH, JD, NH and Yanmar gray market.

Congratulations! Love my B7500HSD. Smart move to get the FEL. I only have 19 hours on the tractor but have found so many uses for the FEL. Moving 15 yards of 2" cobblestone was a breeze.
