My wife just approved the purchase of the tractor. And since I will be using it mostly on my mother in-laws property she agreed to buy a rear blade and grapple. I am going to try the grapple from American Solutions http://www.amerisolutions.net/grapple.htm
Seems like a pretty good system and I doubt I could build one much cheaper or lighter, it definitely would not look as good.
I've got lots of brush and cut off tree limbs to drag around that I never seem to get around to tying to the 4weeler and draggin to the pile.
After many hours of reading this forum I decided that the BX 23 was enough tractor and it's small enough to go in the garage/workshop.
The closest dealer is about 15 miles away and gave me the best price 15200 without a mower (already got a Dixon zero-turn mower to mow the approximatley 3.5 acres of grass on both places) and that seems like a pretty good price judging by the various posts and price guides. Of course he doesn't have one in stock but is supposed to have 2 on the way and he said he could get me one faster if I needed it. (well of course I need it, I mean I reeeaaallly need it, is this what addicts go through? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ) I am so excited. I haven't felt this way since my daughter was born. Ok maybe it's not that exciting but it's up there.
