Never played in CT. What's the going rate for a public course there?

More importantly, how'd you shoot?

A lot of people will be surprised, but the course where the tour event that was played last weekend in Milwaukee (The US Bank Championship - as far as I'm concerned, it will always be the Greater Milwaukee Open (GMO) /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif) is played at Brown Deer Golf Club, which is a public course. The last time I checked, it cost $28.00 to play 18 there! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congratulations on your new machine...which you obviously are finding quite useful! As an aside, consider removing that MMM when you are moving all that rock around so you have better manuverability. It can get in the way really quick for this kind of work...no sense in damaging it and it will give you the opportunity to learn how to remove and re-install it. If you have not found out already, removing the BH and FEL when mowing is also de rigur.

AH, another happy BX owner. You are right, it is a great thing to have. I have 75 hours on my bx2300 now and use it for many things. Next is a front mount blower for this winter /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congratulations on the BX. Looks great. You have been busy. Those rocks do look large. BTW let the boss/wife work/ride the BX every now and again and she will not be asking you those kinds of questions you will be asking her which one she loves more! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks for the good words Jim! I definitely plan on taking off the mower and implements, etc. But I was just sooooo darn excited to get some seat time, that I went to work right away.

Great looking machine, just got mine also, even though I had a 2200 before that I traded on this one..........it is different enough to be new. I love the backhoe, just have to get better with it before getting too close to anything fragile. Very nice machine. I have not taken my deck off yet either, but will this weekend if it is not raining. finished cutting grass yesterday

That tractor really fits you well. You look swell on it and don't listen to those other people that are encouraging you to let the wife use the tractor. Once she gets on that tractor, you are going to have a hard time keeping her off of it. There are some things that a man just shouldn't share, and his tractor is one of them. I will suggest that you straighten out the hoe and pin it when it isn't in use. With it off to the side as in the picture, it can throw you off balance if you are on a slope. Sure wish that mine looked as clean as yours, but after a few hard days moving rocks, your will become as dirty and the bucket will be scratched just like mine. I think of the bucket scratches as memory makers... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I want my BX23 to look as shiny as yours. Guess I have to take it out of the garage and wax it this weekend.
Sorry I can't agree with Junkman on the wife thing. I figure if my wife gets a lot of seat time one of two things will happen. Either I'll have to get another tractor (boy wouldn't that be a shame) OR she'll do all the work while I do shots of Jagermeister on the deck watching her.
You'll love that orange iron, have fun!!!!!!
