Welcome to the BX tractoring! You gonna love your new machine. I would have recommending getting the fel just for maintaining the lot since you have 13 acres. You will find more uses for it as much you will mow with it. Others here on TBN will chime in and say the same thing. However, i am not sure where you are located, so I will say this- getting a front blade is great and it can handle any snow coming your way if you get a foot or less. Where I live in the snow belt, snow can pile higher then a foot. I started out before owning a BX using a walk behind blower for a 100 ft by 50 driveway. Not fun where I live due to high winds all the time by the lake. When I got the BX, I used the FEL and added a wooden plow to clear snow and it works but its not angled so can be a PITA with wet snow. I have switched to a free truck plow I added to the FEL arms and will be working on it this summer to make it angled with hydralics. I can tell you right off the bat that with a wooden plow that i made 6 ft it cleared snow faster then 4 ft wide bucket, and can push it up high when needed. When I used the truck plow, It made a big difference as the curve of the plow rolled the snow and I could push more and further then wooden one.
Now you know what my experience is- basically I like the plow in high winds area, but snowblower is much neater in deep snow. (no I dont have a cab). Getting a blade would be good, or using the fel would work if you are careful about angling the bucket up a little, blower is great in area with lots of snow.
