New Bx223

Well, after reading all the posts on my Local dealer or travel post, and using some of the advice, I am going tomorrow to purchase a Bx2230 from a local dealer. I used the out of state quote to bargin with and the local guy came within 500 bucks, so with travel expenses I would have been about even. And yes, I will pay Mi. tax on my purchase but I feel better about that anyway.
SO...this will be my first tractor, and it will have a FEL and a back blade, and since we are getting nailed with snow and cold up here, I will be moving some snow and smiling the whole time. I'm about to see a whole new level of enjoyment....If I can believe you guys /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Astor, welcome to the tractor owners club. I bought my 1st tractor last April [a BX22] from a local dealer, using an out of state quote for bargaining, & also got to within $500 of the other dealer. Our experiences sound a lot alike, EXCEPT, I spent most of my Christmas break digging up trees in our 70+ degree weather. Yeah, that was pretty unusual, but I really enjoyed it!
I have just over 90 hours on my machine now & have had no real problems - - just a broken air cleaner strap that was warranty work. Can't tell from your profile where you are from, but your post says it is Mich.

Congratulations on your new purchase. I bought a 2200 a few years ago, and traded it in for a BX22 TLB last August. Although I love the BX22 with the b/h, the BX2200 was my first tractor. I don't think you can ever get over that first love.You're going to have a great time. Post lots of pictures.
