Hello all - Looking at a new BX23S w/ loader, BH and 60 inch MMM. was given a quick quote of 21, 250. I stopped in the dealer for a tractor part and inquired on the BX23S. Curious what you guys think of that price? If I can get comfortable w/ the numbers I'd be trading in my BX1870.

Price is pretty much what I was quoted a couple weeks ago, for the exact same package, here in western Tennessee.
That was priced without a trade.

Which MMM? SSQA on loader?
On the one I asked about.. it did have SSQA. And the three-point arms
.... I do not know what the model of MMM was, as I don't have the $$ this year to buy another tractor, I was just doing preliminary research for future purchase, so I didn't want to waste the guys time.

. I did tell him I was just checking them out currently, and asked how much it would be, and he told me he could get me one for just over $21,000.
(The one I was looking at, was already sold)

. That is not including taxes, as we have an ag exemption here.
It's a nice looking package for that price.

Yes, SSQA on the loader. Not sure on the MMM, wasn't one on it. But it would be the 60". I haven't priced the difference between the drive over deck and the standard one

23s $18,100 without the MMM. The regular 60 inch MMM was an additional $1,700. This included hoe, 3 pt hitch. That is $19,800 total.

Seems like a good price. I may be going back to the dealer in a day and talk some more. Don't really need the tractor, need/want the BH and still need a mower.

The 1870's can't be equipped with a BH correct?

Man, that's a lot better than what I was told today. I was told $20,200. The 3 point hitch, grappler ($23**)and 5 foot land pride bush hog ($16**). So, not counting tax, I am pretty much at $25k. I have not checked anywhere else as this place is the only one in town (Albany Georgia).
Seeing these other post, it seems my quote may be a little on the high side. Of course, my eagerness wants one now, but for a few thousand in savings, I could wait a few days or so to get one shipped. Or, I might could go get it within a couple hundred miles. I welcome your thoughts and recommendations.

Thanks to all for posting good information on this site! I have been looking to purchase a sub-compact tractor and I have narrowed it down to the Kubota BX23S or the John Deere 1025R. Both dealers are within 20 minutes of my home and both seem great. I road on each tractor and they both felt very good. I will be moving quite a bit of dirt on my property but nothing crazy heavy. The Kubota dealer quoted me a new BX25S which includes a front loader, backhoe w/thumb and 16" bucket, 54" standard mowing deck and a tooth bar for the front loader for $20,475 before tax.

The JD dealer quoted me a new 1025R tractor with a loader, backhoe and 54" drive-over deck for $21,700 before tax. I have to buy the thumb from a non-JD dealer.

I am leaning toward the Kubota because price is a big consideration but also Kubota is offering 0% interest for 84 months and JD is offering 0% interest for 50 months. After paying 20% down my payments for the Kubota will be $208/month and the JD will be $310.

I assumed the JD would be a better machine but I keep reading reviews where people are extremely happy with the Kubota.

Either one is better than me renting a machine for $320/day every weekend for the next 2 years.

Any thoughts or suggestions and perspectives is greatly appreciated. Are these quotes fair?
