My dealer has both the 3320 and the 4320 cab models on the lot.
A guy I work with and another acquaintance has asked about buying my 970 TLB. (I must be nuts to even think about this!!)

Anyway, I'm not so much interested in the 3320 as the 4320 model. However, my question is --- are the dealers discounting the cab models (less 10% or so) as much as the open station models?

What's a good deal on a cab 4320? Thanks for the feedback.

Akfish

And just for grins --- what might be a good price on the 3320 cab tractor?

I did a search of the cab discussions and found info for a 3520 cab tractor (one) and the 4720 cab model (one).

Newest offering from JD and a bit spendy... But whooeee, they sure look great! (Grading and plowing snow at minus 20 degrees in a cozy cab is enough to warm the cockles of my heart!)

Based upon a sample size of (2) it appears that something approaching 10% off MSRP is in the ballpark for a good deal on the cab models.

Similar discount on the open station models --- around 10% ---.

Are you the fellow who drove down to get your last tractor in Missouri?

The cabs look really nice. I want one for the opposite reason. Extreme heat. I think the cabs add a little over $5K to the price of the tractor.

Kyle;
What model are you interested in? I don't think the mid-size would suit my operation but I was hopin' to hear a bit about how those tractors were working for the guys that use 'em.

Nah, I didn't drive down for the tractor --- Did mosey on down the hill and bought a new horse trailer and a couple of hay burners to balance out the load, though.

Picked up a couple of automatic waters (heated, too) in Canada on my way back and they got some good lookin' fence panels and gates...

Keep thinkin' about buyin' a 10,000 or 14,000lb equipment trailer in the lower 48 and stackin' somethin' on it for the trip back. Darn thing would bounce too much empty!

Yes, sir; those cab models look like fine equipment. Best of luck if you happen to get one. Thanks for the reply. AKfish

Whoa.... impressive! Good job! Slide show -- no less. Sweet lookin' tractors. That 3720 is a fine lookin' piece of equipment.

Stopped by the dealer today to inquire about a price on the iMatch quick hitch and pick up a can of JD green spray paint... and check out the new cab models.

They didn't have them out yet. Still preppin' 'em I guess so I didn't get a chance to look 'em over. They're gonna have an open house next Sat. with hot dogs and ballons and free hats!!

Maybe I'll take the wife out to lunch next weekend....? (It'll be like Mother's Day TWO weekends in a row!) /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Thanks for the pics. Very nice.

My wishes are mostly pipe dreams. Money is an object! But, for my needs I think about it this way. I love the size of my 4310 but, if I'm going to pay the $6K premium for having a cab, I'm going to get the 4720 because my needs are for field mowing and I need the HP. I would love to be able to afford a cab model 5525. If I were a professional landscaper or snow plower, I could see the value in the 3720 model's size as a plus over the necesity of more HP.

Yup, money is a serious bump in the road! I should probably have my head examined for even considering taking on a new payment! But that 0% for 3 years is out there and that makes it very tempting! (If I get $18-$18.5K for my TLB...) and hang onto the tiller, rake, BB, logsplitter, PHD.

I still haven't given up on the idea of doing some landscaping work and snow removal and hay raking, tedding. Plus manure management... and all the chores around the place!

I've been lookin' at the 4120 and the 3720 and even the 110TLB. The 110 is too far out there -- moneywise. If I had an established business then it might be a viable option.

That leaves me with the 4120 and the 3720. Cab on the 3720, and it's smaller and easier to manuever into spots. No option for a BH, though. Less ground clearance and loader capacity if I get into movin' round bales.

If there was a cab option for the 4120 and power beyond available; well, then my decision would be an easier one. (Still have to pencil out --- with a sharp pencil --- the money aspects!)

Fella I used to work with came out and looked my tractor over and he wants it! Give me what I want -- too! But he lives in Nome and won't be back down here until next June. So, I can use the tractor this summer, fall and winter and sell it to him next year. Or, I could try and sell it now... Decisions, decisions.

Still gonna go to the Open House next weekend, though. Sit in the cab and smell that new smell... Fire 'em up and drive 'em a bit in the back lot! Got till the end of July. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
