( You would be hard-pressed to find many parts stamped "Made in the USA" in a Ford Focus, yet wouldn't you still say the car was "made" by Ford? )
Yes, but I wouldn't say the same about the Ford Aspire. I would say Ford sold it, Ford marketed it, but I wouldn't say they "made" it. It's made in Korea. I wouldn't say Mercedes makes the Dodge Neon, yet that's more accurate than your statement about Fiat/ NH. My Century isn't made by American Jawa, it's made by Kukje. Just because American Jawa adds a loader and tires, doesn't allow them to say they "made" it. If that were the case, I could say I "made" a Ferrari by adding a set of wheels and a spoiler.
Shibura "makes" the NH CUTs in Japan. NH does final assembly and adds specific components in the US. NH is a subsidiary of Fiat. I think that's about as close as you can tie them together accurately. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif What a lovely thing the English language can be /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
