Wow that was an old post of mine..... Umm I was unaware that one could download manuals from the old Century site /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif... what manuals do you need... I might have some laying around..

I think it got "converted" some time in the last month.
I got .pdf files from it for the C76 backhoe, C50/C50HL loader and the owners manual for C29 through C47L tractors.
Hmmmm, I'm not sure if those files can be redistributed, probably not.
Maybe its OK if it is NOT for profit (mine or your's).

It might be possible to plead with them to put the old Century stuff back up, I think it would be good for their image to provide doc support of what they used to sell/distribute. Maybe a dealer could ask them nicely (hint).

I noticed because I had gone there looking for the C86 manual - no luck.
Since then I think I'm leaning more towards the Woods Groundbreaker X, but thats a whole 'nother story.

I have downloaded and saved the manuals for the Century Tractors as well as the C50 Front Loader and the C76 backhoe. I would be glad to email any or all the manuals to whoever is interested. American Jawa has treated us like a cheap w.... and then forgot about us.

please define the term cheap w....?

i would be most interested in what you are meaning with this comment.

I look forward to hearing from you about6 this soon.

thanks

I am sorry that the loss of the Century site is causing any body any problems. It was not intended to impact negatively on any one. As we no longer distribute the century product it was not deemed appropriate for AJL to promote the product any longer. If, however, any of you feel that a download facility for manuals that AJL once distributed would be useful AJL would be willing to put a small support site together if the manufacturers and current distributors will allow us to do so.

Would this help? If so I will contact the appropriate people to ask for there permission to do some thing like this.

I have confidence that all future support requirements for century tractors are in good hands with Branson as they are owned by the makers of the Century tractor. I know that they are committed to provide all Century owners with no less a level of support than AJL gave so I would expect manuals for there models to be available for down load in the near future. If not then any one wanting electronic manuals please let me know and we will ask Bransons permission to put them online for you.

regards

TYM,
First I should say thanks for being straight up with us Craig.
I am sure that a lot of us never gave considerations to different legalities and arrangements that may have been made between all the involved parties. As far as Bransons website is concerned my own personal opinion of their website is it leaves a lot to be desired. I have e-mailed them 3 times since Feb and am still waiting for an answer, I stopped holding my breath in March.
Thanks, Hal.

I have had great customer service from Branson over the phone, give them a call, I have never tried the E-mail thing due to my impatience.

Thank you, I really DO appreciate the offer to support what AmJawa used to import and sell. I think a few pages off the TYM main website for Century products (primarily specs, docs and maintenance) would show a strong commitment to ongoing support.
Many of us will replace our tractors one day, repeat business is usually good business, we're worth looking after (-:

Am I the ONLY one that wants continueing support of Century tractors to be available on the web ?

A kind offer has been made, if we're interested I think we need to "stand up and be counted".
The time is NOW, not a year, two or three from now when you discover that your user manual got thrown out in a house cleaning.
That will NOT be the time to P&M about "No support, we've been left high and dry".

I agree with the hollow feeling with the whole Century tractor deal. I would like to see some kind of online support for the Century tractors, either from AmJawa or Branson.

As a side note, I talked to my dealer the other day about parts support for my orphaned 3035. He told me that they had been contacted by Branson and were able to setup an account with Branson for parts to support the Century tractors that they have sold.

We have added a new page onto our web site where you can request manuals etc for the TYM and CENTURY tractors that we once sold. It is only a small step but I hope it help a little. Again I am sure that the people at Branson will soon surpass this level of support for all web users but for now we will help as we can.

the link is http://www.tym-america.com/support.php

Again I hope it helps.

Thank you VERY MUCH !!!
As I think I said in an earlier post, it is POSSIBLE that I saved more from the old site than you did, so I could "return" some of the .pdf files to you if needed.
