Here I go, diggin up an old thread. Thought I'd give those who followed an update.

We did some more shopping. Dad and I REALLY want diesel. Unfortunately, as previously stated, the truck will be bought under the company name, which as for the most part owned by my grandfather. Since he is the real purchaser here, he decides for sure what we get. Let's just say, he isn't anywhere near wanting a diesel like this. For him, it's the up front costs and the fuel prices themselves. Besides, he sees us doing everything we need to do with a gas. However, Dad and I plan on expanding the farm-based operation. Some including gooseneck work.

But, long story short, I'm fighting a new truck right now. If he wants to save costs, then we'll just keep our '03 Chevy. It only has 85k miles, and only minor problems, like a broken dash light. It works great for what we use it for.

Just an update, and we're getting back into a little more heat of buying a truck, so I'll do the best I can to keep it updated.
