Sammi, NICE TRACTOR! I am jealous!! Not sure if you know or not, but they make TONS OF IMPLEMENTS FOR IT!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
You may want to post your last question about what RPM's to run it at during break in. It has been posted before, but I don't recall what forum. There were a bunch of good replies to it. Good luck!!

Sammi, the best way to break in the tractor is to run it all different RPM settings, but being careful not to lug/drag the engine down much. Lugging is the worst thing for the engine, not running all out.
For general duties not less than 2000 RPM, probably 2300 being better for low range working. Just listen to the engine, and if you're lugging it down, speed it up some. You don't have to run at 2600 for most things, but keep in mind that your hydraulic flows faster at higher RPM making your loader operations a little quicker. You won't lift more, but it will be faster.
Also, don't let the tractor idle for long periods at min. RPM as the engine may receive inferior oiling at the lowest idle.

Speaking of that, what should my CK20 idle at. It seems slow. Like only 850 - 900 rpms.

That wouldn't be a problem unless you're letting it sit at that idle for long periods. I think most CK20s idle between 850 and 1200.
One other thing, when starting, move your throttle up at least 1/4 of the way and warm up at around 1500 RPM. This will ensure good primary oil flow. You don't want to start up at minimum throttle as it doesn't lubricate as well.
