New CK20S coming on Friday

I'm also looking for a decent box blade that will match well with this tractor. I'm thinking a 54", although not many companies make that size. Might have to go with a 60" and just take it easy. Now if I can only find one under $800.00 around here in NH.

Nick

I picked up a 48" HD boxblade from my dealer (Batchelder Sales) and it was just $480. It is incredibly heavy and well made. In this rocky soil I have in the Lakes Region, NH I went with the 4ft over a 5ft. If I hit a good sized rock or root it will stop the tractor and just spin the tires. It is just wide enough to pretty much cover my tracks and can still dig down deep without lugging down the tractor. It is red so if by "match well" you mean color coded, you may need to go get some orange paint. Although checking out there new site, it looks like they carry the Kioti orange BB's now.

Low range in 4x4 with the diff locked and slight pressure on the HST pedal and this little tractor will drag a small house!

Dmace,

Concerning the box blade, I should have said best fit for the ck20. Color doesn't matter to me. Just concerned how well the tractor can handle the size and weight and cover the rear wheel tracks.

Thanks for the link, I will check out Batchelder Sales.

Personally, I think the 4ft boxblade is a perfect size for this tractor and the rocky soils in NH. It may differ where you are but a 5ft is not going to make the job that much faster and will cost hundreds more.

Also, I just checked my receipt and the boxblade was actually $430 about 1 yr ago.

Derek,

Your point on on the 48" being the perfect size certainly makes good sense to me and the value for the dollar as well. I will definately be contacting Batchelder Sales tomorrow.

I see that they offer two 48" models. I assume yours being "HD" is the more heavy duty model (approx. 400 lbs.). I'll get prices on both. Thanks.

Mark

Opps, I forgot to mention the dealer I'm going through is Ken's Tractor Sales in Troy, NH.

Mark,
Congrats on the new machine, it will surprise you how much power these have if you have traction.

Derek,
How is Becky doin' at Batchelder, haven't heard from her since she got bashed here a while back trying to help out?

I haven't been to the shop in a while (that tends to happen with a dependable Kioti :D) but I believe she still watches the forum and post every now and then. It's too bad a select few would rather attack those trying to help rather than be part of the solution...

It would be nice to have her back. You have to have a thick skin however if you are consistently going to be either pro or con on a given topic (like Kioti) on this forum. As I recall Becky set herself up by attacking some of the nattering nabobs of negativity but then couldn't stand the heat when they counterpunched. I'm sad she bailed out after that and wish she'd just dusted herself off and gotten back into the ring.

Unfortunately, it wasn't just some of the "nattering nabobs of negativity" who came down on her, but some of the more respected and vocal Kioti owners.
I too hope she reconsiders her exile.

I have the 60" from Batches on my CK20, yes the rocks here in NH occasionally give it a problem. But I am happy with the size and performance on the 20.

Remember the price of steel has gone up some, so better call to get the latest prices 207-339-2147.

It's here...

Unfortunately the toothbar had a hairline crack on one end so it wasn't mounted. Oh well, guess I'll have to give Markham a call.

Now, I wonder where my wife went?
