NEW CK30 HST or GEAR

Steve thank's for the reply. THE price quote I receive for the CK20HST FEL 54 BUCKET 2365 BACKHOE was 23000 . I'm in no hurry to buy I'm still in the research mode . I like the idea of hst as my wife would be using it too. So by your experience do you think theCK20HST could handle the 48 inch snowblower. And please... Don't feel that you babble it's story's like your's that help's guy's like me. THANK"S CAG

My error, I was referring to the CK30, on the CK20 it is 1 hp.

I almost got to try it out yesterday, but the I figured the snow we got was too wet and heavy from my past experience to use the snowblower, so I just left the backhoe on for weight and boy did I need the weight for pushing this stuff around. We got over 12" on saturday night and sunday morning. We lost power sat. night about midnight (six major transmission towers collapsed) and it just came back on 20 mins. ago. Needless to say why I'm late replying. Sorry I'm babbling again, but yes, I think it should be no problem at all from what my little Kubota would do with the snowblower.

Well were still snowless around here Steve and I don't have a problem with that. Had a chance to talk with the kioti dealer today about the CK20 HST and how it would handle the 48 inch snowblower and is reply was that it would handle it. The performance of the CK20HST would depend on how deep the snow is.. But went on to say you wont have problem's... Good enough for me... CAG /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Been good reading all the talk.....Sorry I have not replied but been down in Jacksonville Florida tractor shopping. Tried a left over 4710 JD with the new 400 series loader. Nice unit but what a monster! Like the ehydro ver simple and natural position for the foot to use. In the end just way to much machine for what I will be doing. Next up was a Kubota 3830 with loader and synchro shuttle. Hydraulics much smother than the JD loader but did not like the synchro it is in a kind of S pattern that did not allow you to go back and forth very simply...New JD synch shuttle was a similar setup made for awkward back and forth movements. Both are apples and oranges from the Kioti CK30 but made me appreciate that tractor even more. I find it funny that John dears 35HP engine is the same size cid that Kioti's 30....maybe a lil under rated engine?
