:) I just purchased a new CT230. It was a 2010 model and the only thing I wished it had was the quick attach bucket, but I got a deal that I couldn't pass up. Have any of you converted your FEL pin on loader to a quick attach loader and did you go with an aftermarket kit or did you purchase it from Bobcat and why? I have not made up my mind yet on whether or not to change it to the quick attach. The only other attachment for my FEL that I think I want is a grapple and I do not believe I would be changing it that often. Maybe 3 or 4 times a year.

I am also planning on buying a Caroni flail mower. Will the CT230 handle the TM1900 or should I look at something smaller? Anyone running a TM1900 with a CT230?

I converted mine to the quick attach. I'll change buckets as often as 3 times a day on a weekend. I don't know if there is an aftermarket quick attach that will fit that loader, bought mine from the dealer then ground off the pin mounts and welded a mounting frame on the bucket instead of buying a new bucket.

MIE makes conversion kits for non QA buckets to QA. They have some that do not require modifications of the bucket.
give them a call.

Every minute you save from maintaining equipment is an extra minute added to your life.

I would NOT be without my quick attach. I switch from the bucket to pallet forks or to just no bucket. Even switching 3-4 times per year would cost you probably about 20-30 minutes per change for a pin-on bucket. That would be 4 hours of wasted time per year. Never mind the swearing that would ensue from trying to line up pins.

Drop a bit of cash so you can drop your bucket fast!

I'll sell you the Bobtach and a new 68" quick tach bucket for $950.

I've got a kioti ck27hst (same frame as the ct225/230/235 tractors. I have the quick hitch, bucket, grapple, and hay spears. I change a implements a bunch! Since it's so easy and quick to switch I don't always plan out my work... :-D

Worth every penny even if it was double the price!

I made a lot of good choices when I bought my CT235, one being to buy the quick tach, and a couple of not so good ones, I can fix one of the fairly painlessly, which is getting a couple of rear remotes, about the same money now as when I bought the tractor, the other one I wish I had gotten the deluxe seat, but my salesman talked me out of it.

I would have shot myself had I bought the pin on bucket

I got the deluxe suspension seat and Bob-Tach but no mid-PTO or rear remotes.

I did add a set of rear remotes and still have no use for a mid-PTO. Otherwise, I got what I wanted.
