I am going to purchase a BX24 and I am wondering if your skid plate will attach to this machine. The reason that I ask is that in comparing the BX23 to the BX24, the transmission oil filter on the BX24 is mounted much higher which would lead me to believe that there may be differences in the undercarriage of the BX24. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Darrell,

I haven't got a chance to try it yet ,on a BX24, but my local dealer had mention they where the same, guess not /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.

There must be a difference, since you seen it yourself.

If the filter is higher, that would be no problem. Send me your email, so I can send you the installation manual for the skid plate.

I wouldn't mind your insight for now on what you think of the layout.

If there some modification needed, I will get a BX24 for testing.

Two years ago it cost me a radiator, by not having one. Also, knocked off a hydo line, no damage just gave me the opportunity to change hydro filters.

Hi Boman,

I'm getting a "B" in the shop this weekend, not sure which model, but it will be one with a MMM.

I'll take a few photos, of the work in progress.

It look more like weeks, than months now.

The Thumb (HomeBrew2 original design that bolts on, no welding needed, the only difference this one will fold down) is also in contruction (comming out & in testing ETA 2weeks), it's crazy out here... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
