Well, I have received a price quote from a second dealer.
He is just over $1600 cheaper then the first dealer for the identicle package.
His price breaks down as follows.
TC35D with loaded R4 tires and 16LA loader $21,789
Rear remote installed $295
Quick-tach system installed $350
Mid PTO installed $650
Grill guard installed $190
Sunshade canopy installed $447
Total $23,428.95

First dealer wants for mid PTO $1500.00
Second dealr wants for mid PTO $650
Now thats a considerably differance /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Mark,

I don't know anything about the Northeast at all for pricing. But I was wondering if you checked into the TC33D? It is only 2 horsepower less. The 33 in the hydro comes with the mid PTO. This is is I am reading the specifications right?

I guess what I am saying is for 2 hp less you could get hydro and it would include the mid PTO...

I purchased the TC29D here in Southeastern Minnesota for $14,975.00 and it would only have been $600 more to go to the TC33D and I would have gone for it if I hadn't already paid $400 to from the 25 to the 29. I wanted the 25. My TC29D has R4's, Hydro, Supersteer, sensitrac, it was pretty much loaded.

The 35 is quite a bit bigger and u get almost 2 times the lift cap. plus SSL Q-T.
I went w/ the 35 for the 84" MMM.

I have to apologize. My math on dealer #2 was / is incorrect.
The total of his figure is $23,721.00 Not $23,428.95
So he is $1,328 below dealer #1
Dealer #3 is comming in at the following total $22,275.00 but that is FOB in Maine, which means either I pay them to deliver it or I pay someone to go pick it up. So there total will increase by some $$
I am still waiting for quotes from 2 other New Hampshire dealers. I just got off the phone with dealer #1 and told him that he needed to do some serious pencil sharpening. This comment was received and taken quite favorably. So if I have achance to get there this afternoon for a test drive, I will see how favorably.
It seems as though my JD may be getting sold out from underneath me before I am ready. I only decided to put it up for sale 2 days ago and it might well be sold this afternoon.
The next couple of hours will tell.

Update
MY JD 950 is sold. I should have my $ check $ Tuesday.
I informed the 3 people who had said " Mark, let me know when / if you decide to sell it, I would be interested". Each one got a sale flyer and I stuck one flyer up in my local hardware store
It was only on the market for 2 days and and it was grabbed up by the first person to look at it, ( 1 of the 3 )actually it is 2 guys buying it together. I know them both and they are local business men. So in reality the tractor is only going to move maybe 4 miles up the road.
I have also struck the deal on my TC35D with my local dealer, who was most receptive to my negotiations. He either matched my lowest prices or met me half way between my two lowest prices.
I opted not to get the mid PTO, only because I don't really know what the heck I will / would ever need it for. I got the dealer down to $500 installed and he said that at anytime I felt I wanted it, that they would still honor that price.
How can I argue with that ?
So as it stands, This is the deal.
1- TC35D w/ 16LA loader & R4 tires (loaded) $21,789
2- Quick attach bucket system w either a HD 60" or a HD 72" bucket, my choice. ( i'll explain later ) $350.00
3- Rear remote valve $295.00
4- Engine block heater $120.00
5- NH fiberglass canopy $450.00
6- grill guard $200.00
All items will be dealer installed. Total price $23,200.00
I am sure that I could have beat that price by upto as much a $1000 but all the other dealers are approx 2 hours away. My local dealer is approx 30 minutes with good traffic. They offer FREE pick up and delivery even after the warrenty has expired. They also provide a loaner if needed, in case your tractor requires service or repairs. They have a state of the art facility with Multiple service bays (like 6 or 8)
in general, I am very pleased with my choice of dealer and our deal. With NH's present financing rates my payments will most likely be lower than they were with my JD 950.
They are presently offering 0% for up to 36 months, 2.49% for 48, 3.49% for 60, or 4.49%for 72 months.

This is an old topic for NE. There have been many similar posts in the past. NH should level the playing field for their customers in NE.

Mark,

Congratulations on your new rig. I am sure you are excited to get. I think you got a good price on it. And you probably could have beaten your dealer up some. But he still has to take care of it and if you beat him to much he may not be so willing to fix. I think you did good, be happy with the deal you struck. Another requisit is that you have to post pictures when you get it home.

Wow, those finance terms are very nice, our local (Central Wis.) NH dealer only has 0% for 12 mos. and 4.99% for anything up to 60 mos. That is through NH, are there different terms for different dealers? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

TractorTruck,
To the best of my knowledge, those finance terms are offered solely by New Holland credit and I would expect should be the same nation wide.
According to my salesman. The terms just came out and NH was competing nose to nose with Kubota rates.
I would question your dealer and have him double check.
