Note I'm in Spain, so some laws are different.
This is out in the woods, this is something I must solve myself.
Quite determined. My hope is that as I'm one of the first in the area to resist, and as there are plenty of other places to go (that will be easier), most will move.
Wish I could shoot them with salt, but I can't.
Problem with loose wires is that you can move them to make room and get in. You can tie them with posts, or with vertical wires, but then it's similar to taut ones ... you just climb were the post is.
I'll investigate that kind of fence. Not sure it will be legal as it must allow wild animal to get through. It will soon be inside a natural reserve.
This is 150 acres, so dogs to control are not an option. I'm considering getting a few brave bulls. You can get insurance and are not liable to damage done to people inside your area. Once they get somebody, problems decrease (personal experience). Pastures are rented so it would be tricky.
I'll also think about an electric fence ... need to think how to protect the installation so it doesn't get stolen. It would only need to be charged for 3 or 4 months.
