Funny you should mention a hook like that. I had actually thought of using an old hockey skate lacing hook but like the idea of pliers better only because I know myself and my luck. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif If I went to pull the pin out with the lacing hook it would come flying out and off of the hook to land somewhere inside, under, beneath or behind something making it impossible for me to find. /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif Besides, I'm sure having pliers in my toolbox will be a good idea for other things, too. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Hey Russ,

Are you enjoying the rain. I sure cuts down on the watering. I sent you an email at your ATT email address in response to your question. By the way - you have a space in your email address in your profile, this will cause all of your friends here to get error messages when they send you mail. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

Without going into great detail here I haven't gotten my box blade yet due to overwhelming shipping charges. We are trying to work that issue out right now.

Todd:

Thanks for the note about the Email address, will fix promptly

Rain yes its nice, but now I can actually hear the grass growing. I have had to finally learn to just say no to some of the calls I've been getting, regarding mowing jobs. i was just getting to far behind on some of lifes other little matters. I didn't think I would ever admit to having to much seat time. could there actually be such a thing.

I hope you get your shipping issues resolved soon. You sounded so jazzed about getting some new equipment, hate to think you can be down over some shipping details.

That's a possibility, but it would take a 7" pin to reach and would have to go through 4 parts.

That was the only way I saw to do it but I foresaw a couple potential problems with it. I was concerned with alignment, though, from what I've seen from First Choice thus far, engineering and manufacturing to the level of alignment required wouldn't be a problem for you. The other concern I had was the local availability of a 7" replacement pin when, inevitably, I lose one. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Of course, I could then always "make do" with the exact set up I have now even if I have to order a 7" pin. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I imagine after doing that a couple times I'd either learn to love using it as it's currently set up or learn to buy the longer pins in bulk. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
