New First Choice owner

I have a 72" rear discharge First Choice mower also. It is a great unit - especially at the price. The only problem is that I've used it 4 times due to our drought & new lawn. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

I've yet to see the first picture on the site. The box where a picture would be appears, but that's it.

Thanks for the information, I plan on purchasing one one before next season and have been impressed with all the comments about first choice. As for not being able to pull up the pictures from their web site, I believe that someone posted a while back that they are still working on the web site and are not yet compatible with all systems. I can get it at work but not at home.

Gary:

Here is the link to the temporary website that First Choice was using before they established their regular website. And it is still active. http://home.midwest.net/~jimmc/index.html It contains a picture of their GM series 3pt rear discharge finish mower.

Russ,

Thanks for the link. I've never had a problem with pictures on that website from day one. It's just the new one that is 'text only' for me. /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif/w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

GM30-72 with full rear discharge and air tires rather than solid rubber tires. Rides better on rough lawn like I have.

Your comment on the air tires is of interest to me. I have been using 6' side discharge mowers with solid tires for the last 20 years. I have had to replace wheels several times, either worn out or damaged, like when turning & the wheel hits hard object like the edge of a concrete drive. I ordered a 7' rear discharge First Choice about July 1, but haven't seen yet. Everyone here tells me I don't want air tires. Seems to me they would roll smoother but maybe not take the abuse of the solid.
Have you used both styles long enough for good comparison?
