Man, I hate to say it but I'm really starting to dislike the narrow format in the forum area! I know we need room for ads, but I'm going to have to get a motorized wheel for my mouse with all the scrolling I'm doing.

Just click the shaded X below the ad. This tells the marketeer that this is a active address and then you will get all kinds if interesting ads in your e-mail. Now how did I learn this.

I must admit that after being here for 10 years, having the "back" button on IE8 no longer work is a little frustrating.

If you run Firefox the add on Adblock plus will disable most of the adds and banners from most websites. It has made many forums I frequent easier on the eyes.

That's why I only click on the flashing ones with the fireworks that say I won a million $$!!:D:D:laughing:

Couple of years ago, I clicked an add and ended up with a trojan or malware, total PITA.

I haven't had any trouble with the ad's on here, but at times they load slow. I had to upgrade my Shockwave and that helped a little.

I switched from IE to Firefox 2 years ago, so far it has been better for me and supposedly somewhat "safer". I had downloaded FF and still have the ability to use IE, but haven't since day one. Also had Google Chrome, fast, but I didn't like the lay out.

Firefox is the shizz... You may try your backspace key in IE. Backspace key or back button seem to work fine in Firefox. Below link if you're interested in firefox. I got away from the Billybrowser several years ago and like it a lot. :D

Getting Started with Mozilla Firefox

I haven't heard about the adblock plug in - will have to give that a try.

Ads on TV these days are so bad I can't stand to watch a program that's not been recorded so I can FF through the commercials.

I use the app for my iPhone :) No ads (not that I mind them) and I get my TBN on the go! The guys even know I have it and ask me to search certain topics. I just have to wipe the grease off some times, but that is ok too, it's glass.
