Howdy, all. I'm in the middle of Dallas/Fort Worth.
I have a small pasture acreage I need to maintain. I used to rent equipment the few times I needed it, but it was such a hassle scheduling. I finally gave in and just bought a used Kubota ZD326 ZTR mower with only 100 hours on it. I'm determined to learn how to do most maintenance and easy servicing myself. I'm looking forward to using this forum as a resource. Maybe someday I'll be able to give back and post a tip that saves someone some time or money.
With all the rain we've had this spring, I've only managed to put about 20 hours on it this year. And broken an anti-scalp deck wheel. And lost the coolant reservoir cap. And bent a large pipe used as a clothesline by catching on the ROPS. So far just good learning experiences - which means no permanent damage to anyone or anything and low cost. So far.
Thanks,
Stickperson
