I'm optimistic about this!!!! Hoping it all goes well!!!!

The twist type pex fittings kinda suck. Normally barbed fittings are used with steel clamps. Much easier to do.

Looking good!!!!

You're gaining.

Can't understand not being able to get chairs locally. I only have one Lumber Yard in my County and they stock chairs.

Thanks for the update!!!

When I built my barn I had a hard time finding rebar chairs.

How thick is the underslab insulation and where did you get it?

I pressurized the system for the leak test, in 2 hours i went from 45psi to 42psi, so I snugged up the fittings. Left it and 6 hours later i had dropped to 39psi. Tomorrow I'm going to get a spray bottle with soapy water and spray down the whole manifold. I'm almost certain it's a fitting somewhere. I'm leaving it overnight to see what it's at in the morning.

It is the barbed fittings with the steel clamps, no twist. I just had to get it lined up properly which was a pain.

That amount of pressure drop could be explained by a temperature drop.

My back wont allow pulling any concrete so I hired my pour for tomorrow. Yes it will cost me a $1 a foot for the flatwork. But I consider it well worth it. Pouring a 30x32 slab for a garage. Made the center 12 foot of form so I can pull it and get the truck into the form due to no access except the one side. Will put the chairs back as the truck backs up. With pex and foam this is not an option for you. Back not been an issue I would pour it myself with a helper.
Truck driver will make or break you. The good ones will work the chute without much direction while watching the flow and grade pins. Local plant will send extra chute if you request it. Always have your trucks scheduled in the same round. When ones empty you need the next one ready to pour.
Good luck with yours.

Possible but this would mean about a 50degF temperature drop.
