My new 06 starts much easier than my 05 did.
They also moved the choke to the dash and you don't have to hold it.
The new 4 wheel drive (on demand) is awesome. It's the best I have seen on any utv to date.
The ground clearance in the rear is the biggest problem with the hpx's .
I believe if they give up some of the load capacity and use the cv type rear end they will be more competitive.
More hp would also be nice.

I like my Rhino but for an all out work vehicle the hpx is my choice~!

From what I heard from my friend who went to the Sarasota show, they had virtually every major competitor to the JD there and the new Gator seemed to be the best performer. Of course, you would want your product to do well, but it seems as though the tests were reasonably fair. Apparently one had the Gator pulling a large weighted palate. As per the person who went it would pull in two wheel drive what most pulled in four wheel drive or not at all. Also, I think the increased power (24 hp) with the more-efficient drivetrain should do really well. My friend drove them and said even though the gas one was much better with the fuel-injection, he still felt the diesel had more power. He also said the top speed was closer actually to many of the really fast UTV's than many realized.
