Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the gc1710 and the gc1720, besides horsepower? I've looked at a gc1705 and I'm interested in trading my GC2610, but need to know why there is now $2000.00 between a GC1710 and a GC1720. If I remember right it was only $500.00 between the the GC2410 and GC 2610 when I bought mine. The delaer I spoke with just got the GC1705 in and didn't know much about the differences. Thanks

Fancier seat on the 1720, signal light guards, rear work light and maybe something else. I can't remember off the top of my head? Aside from the previous HP and Hydraulic differences. It was about $900-$1,000 difference before.

The differences are mainly cosmetic.

Engine horsepower, PTO HP, and hydraulics are identical between the 2400/2600 series and the 1700 series according to the spec sheets on the Massey website.
