Congrats! Great looking setup. I'm sure you will enjoy it a ton with all those toys. Give us a update on "The Thumb" grapple! What length of the claw did you get for the DL95 loader bucket?

How did they route your WR Long 3rd function valve? I assume you do not have sensitivity, basically on/off for the grapple when using the the thumb?

Its the 24" thumb, and it hits the bucket edge perfectly. I had some 3/8 welded onto the top of the bucket for reinforcement. I'll try to post some pics of the 3rd function valve sometime. Its mounted on the upright just above the existing hydraulic connections. It sure is tight in there, but there isn't much room on these small tractors.

I played with it bit, just picking up a couple of small logs I had laying around. Almost everything I have has already been processed into firewood. It's reasonably sensitive. You're not going to be picking up eggs with it, but it certainly doesn't slam shut.

For sure real estate is a premium. I am just more curious as to the location and how they ran the hydraulic hoses to see how they mount up on the 10/20 with the backhoe. Can you use your third function while the backhoe is on no issues?

I get it now, you're interested in the plumbing....Honestly, I haven't looked too close. I haven't removed the backhoe yet...its been on the whole time. No issues using either the hoe or thumb with the current set up.

Fiziks. You got a nice snowblower attachment for the new gc1720 . . so I'm assuming you must be in an area that gets a fair amount of snow. Yet the recent pictures showed green grass everywhere. And here I've put more than 11 hours on mine in snow efforts. When do you figure you're going to get some "*****" on all that fresh sbiny red paint. Mjd january . . timd to "crank it up" lol

On average, we get ~30-40" of snow per year. Weather has been crazy it seems. We had hurricane Irene knock out power for more than a week, then an early Oct snow storm drop 18" before Halloween knocking power out for another week. Then of course Sandy hit the area. We had the blizzard of 2013 where my town had the 4th highest snow total, a little over 36" in one storm. This year alone, we've had the coldest winter month on record for CT (last Jan we hit -13) and this Dec the warmest on record, by a long shot. It was 61 just yesterday.

It seems we are either way above average...or way below...This year so far, we've has one storm, for maybe an inch. The winter of 2010 we had well over 100"...

My gut tells me we will pay for the warm winter we've had so far...just not sure when. Will it be late season snow, heavy spring rains bringing floods, or perhaps we will stay hot and dry and have drought problems this summer..? Who knows...

In watching the ag day weather forecast on tv (my absolute favorite weather forcastin (ag day/farm report) . . I'm guessing who ever gets lake effects snow is going to get dumpwd on the next 3 or 4 dats. Our cold weathet is heading straight east.

It's arriving here already, living in the snow belt by Lake Erie until the lake freezes over we get pounded by lake effect snow. The GC 1720 is up for the challenge thus far. Love having the FEL mounted snow blade. You can get nice and close to building, steps, etc... and can back drag the snow and push it where you want it.
