new GC2610 hydrostatic transmission question

   / new GC2610 hydrostatic transmission question #11
Can anyone comment about the transmission power and noises it makes when under load? Thanks!!

It sounds normal to me. High gear is really for travel only. Low gear is for working with the loader. The farther down you depress the pedal, the less torque you get from the hydrostatic. If it starts to bog down, ease up on the accelerator(very different than a car). With 4WD selected, when moving forward into a pile with a loader, the bucket will compress the front tires, bringing them to a stop. You have to lift/curl to continue going forward.

Mine makes a horrible noise if I leave the park brake on and doesn't move very far before I hit the brake pedal to release.

Doesn't sound normal to me...at least in low gear. I have the 2400 and if I get to aggressive I spin. Never had it not do anything. I even spin them in 4x.

My 2300 will drop a few hundred rpm, but will not so much as chirp a tire. I can stall it in high though. It is most prevalent when traction is abundant, such as when trying to pull a stump. Forces applied put most downward pressure on the tires.
