I assumed that there are 1/2 Ag couplers that have the hose end in threaded in either JIC or NPT?? On my tractor the hose ends are male, with caps on them. The hoses are connected to side by side bracket on the front tube of the loader.

I have never seen an Ag connector with JIC fittings. Take a cap off of what ever you have and look at it. It is most likely NPT. 1/2 inch. Please confirm. Please post photo.

I don't know why dealers don't ask the customer what kind of couplers they want on their 3rd function.

Good point, but I expect because there is such a disparity in price between the Flat Face and the AG/Pioneer couplers they don't want to get into asking for more money during the deal? Just a thought. For that matter why not just put AG's on from the Factory, They are pretty cheap, and if the customer wants Flat Face, well then he can unscrew them and put on the Flat Face, or he can make up adapters if he likes.

They could charge accordingly for what the customer wants.

I am not sure if my dealer normally puts couplers on the 3rd function or not. I told him I wanted to see the 3rd function work before it left. He knew I was interested in a snow blade he had so he put that on and the blade had flat faced couplers.

I think it would be bad for them to send them out the door without couplers on it because how could they test it?
