HOLY COW.
Beretta INOX 92fs 9mm 15round clip.

I have never shot a handgun before today and it is a TACK DRIVER. I went with the USA model because of all the finish issues I read about on the Italians. I was pretty apprehensive but watched a bunch of youtube videos on 92fs safety and took a buddy with me that has had guns forever. I ordered the gun from Clark Bros in Warrenton VA because they have a range and their service was good. The background check was backed up so I did not take it home but I did shoot about 125 rounds. I started with a little flinch and too much trigger pull (what my buddy said) and my shots were low and right but I compensated pretty quickly. The laser (crimson trace grip) is a huge advantage for sure.
I never felt great with the first round so next time I will try a manual hammer cock for the first shot.
I LOVE this gun. perfect size and power. I also really loved the time at the range so I will probably get a bigger model, a smaller model and a revolver pretty soon. One guy there was shooting a .44 - wow. It sounded like a tank. The 92fs INOX is beautiful and I shot and felt like a pro. On my third target I shot 23 or so rounds and you can see how tight the pattern is. WOW. If my buddy hadn't gone with me I wouldn't even have shot it. The laser is awesome and I cant wait to shoot again.

Loading the clip sure did suck though. It loosened up after a while but I am thinking about buying a bunch of clips (10 or so) so I don't have to mess with it too often at the range.

Any good cleaning recommendations for the INOX? Any good holster recommendations that wont screw up the finish (even though now that I have it I am not going to worry too much about it)?

Nice piece, shoot as much possible and you will really get to know it so I case it is ever needed for home defense (I hope you never do) you will be on top of you game. My brother just bought a 500 S & W, no that thing is like a tank.....

What you need is a Magazine Speed Loader. Check out the UpLULA Speed Loader

Nice weapon, is clark brothers that shop off route 17 at the crossraods/intersection? I kind of remeber a white gunshop with red lettering perhaps...from 1986. I recall it had a range and lots of goodies....that was many moons ago as I lived near haymarket then...

Excellent choice! Take a look at the BlackHawk CQC Holsters. Gun is very secure even if your upside down. It wont stretch or loosen with wear like a leather holster that uses only friction for retention. Comes with belt or inside waistband paddle frame and can be adjusted for your preferred angle of tilt.

When I bought my Glock I felt the same way. Spent a lot of time reloading. So I bought a few more mags so I could load up at home then go click off 40-50 rounds before having to reload again. Congrats on the new gun

congratulations on the beretta! i love the 92fs. someday i will buy one. You mentioned the .44mag so i think you would appreciate my .50 desert eagle . I make my own bullets too. Yeah, i know there is a new big boy on the block sporting more powder (.500 s&w) but any how, here are some nice rings of fire in pure day light out of my 50 cal desert eagle. My dad is the guy laughing haha

Very nice gun, donn. Thanks for the pcs.

I don't think you need to worry about a holster wearing the finish on that stainless.

You'll want a few extra mags anyway.

Congrats! Glad you like it.
