Now you know why so many farmers tax exempt their equipment in Indiana. Indiana sure does tax the farmers hard don't they.:D

I tax exempted my tractor so IN didn't get their 1.07 x (tractor price) out of me!:D

Sorry it looks bad, just getting the total price with 7% sales tax.

Duh, I see what you did now.

I did go to the dealer this morning and I went ahead and got the paper work done and approved for the 0%. Now just have to make up my mind on exactly what I will get and when.

Well, I still don't have a tractor. I figured I'd wait for the election drama to end.....not sure why that matters though. I've been looking at the MF as well, I'm drawn to their nice financing offers. Looks like the 1528 would be the closest match to the 2620 Kubota?

That 1528 out weighs the B2620 by almost 1000#. I imagine it would drag a 2620 around the yard wherever it wanted it. MF compared it to an L2800. I agree, it didn't seem like MF had a model that matched the 2620.

A 2620 w/364 FEL gets delivered tomorrow!!!! I get to use it for the weekend before finalizing the configuration next week. For now they only had the tractor and loader in stock. I'm considering adding the ballast box and calling it a day. Or adding the BH65 w/12" bucket, optional valve & toothbar. The pricing is as follows.

Option #1 tractor/loader/BB= $14300

Option #2 tractor/loader/BH65 w/12" Bkt,
Optional valve kit & woods TB = $21300

Both are w/ R4 tires

Obviously I like #2 better, but with the stark difference in price, I may decide to wait on those things, not sure. I haven't found a place that sells rimguard yet, but I'm looking.

Comments?

The tractor arrived this morning! Spent the day doing the things I always wanted to do but couldn't for the lack of a machine. I cleared off a nice spot in the woods and circled some concrete blocks for a fire pit. I sawed some logs for seats. Had a nice campfire and roasted marshmallows with the kids.

So far I'm real impressed with what I can do with just a bucket. I was able to pop 3 old stumps up that were the remains of logging years ago. I for sure need some weight in the back.

Nice !! Congrats on the new tractor! If the possibility of adding the backhoe into the purchase still exists, i highly recommend it. Now is the time with the finanging deals. Trying to add it later will be much more difficult. I also recommend loading the rear tires if your dealer hasn't already done so. Have fun !

Thanks, I love the tractor. I'm really torn on what options to put on it. I go to the dealer on tuesday to close the deal. I really want the BH for the reason you stated. However for what I'm doing with the tractor what I really need more is a front grapple and a skidding boom for the rear, a log splitter and a chipper. *shrug* I'm really torn. I did not have the tires filled cause they used calcium which I don't want. I was anticipating getting the hoe for the ballast. If I don't end up with the hoe I will for sure be on the look out for the rimguard.

Glad to here you are happy with tractor and it is meeting your expectations. That's cool that the family gets to share and enjoy the rewards as well. That sure is a pretty area you have down there. I have always loved southern IN.

Congrats! I love my 2620 as Iam sure you do already as well. I would get the tires loaded w/ rimguard regardless of BH purchase. Its nice having that added weight in the back when you are not using the BH or other implemet. Good Luck!

Funny you should mention that. My neighbor took a couple of pics at the front of my property. The fall colors are always fantastic here.
