Just wanted to stop and say Hi.
I farm my grandparents 65 acre farm in the Midwest. Grandpa died back in '08 and left us a bunch of old equipment in the barns, been farming the land pretty much ever since (no one else in the family had much interest).
I've got an '86 MF 250 that I rebuilt the diesel engine on, a '63 MF 35 that needs a new head gasket, a '48 Ford 8N that was the first tractor my grandpa and great-grandpa bought together, a '52 JD Model 45 Combine that I have running again - need to fix up the corn header, and a bunch of implements.
Implements:
2 bottom moldboard plow, 3 bottom moldboard plow, '48 9 ft Dempster seed drill, 2 cultivators - one shank, and one with shovels, a hydraulic log splitter made from garbage truck parts, a 6 ft disc, an old harrow drag, a 6ft tiller, 6ft blade, and a 5ft box blade, and a 6ft brush hog.
The photo is me talking to my dad and brother while offloading the combine with wheat this summer.
Anyways, figured I would join, I keep finding this site during searches of equipment that I'm looking for, or looking for info on.
