Welcome to TBN, and Great Posts! The Bobtatch is the best thing since the Caqt I quick hitch specification. Bobtatch is nice because there is no precicion required. Six strips of steel and an implement is converted. All FELs should come with Bobtatch. and now Olmike has shown us how everone can make Bobtatch. Thanks!
I made a wooden jig sized exactly like the loader side of the Bobtatch hitch system. with angled woodedn corner blocks to match the hitch angles. To convert an attachment I clamp the jig to the implement, clamp the new steel to the jig, and start welding. The last step is to flame cut the square cutouts.
Great post. Any good quick hitch makes hook-up faster and more important, safer. This means more seat time and also we are willing to do tractor work that otherwise we might delay because of the hookup hassle. I have never seen a homemade bobtatch (the loader side of the hitch).
