New hard cab for 2320 with AC

/ New hard cab for 2320 with AC #11
It's been a heck of a winter so far this year and I for one wouldn't mind a cab tractor with a snowblower. So, who's going to build me a shed to keep it in?
Seriously, a 2320 with such a cab would probably cost nearly a 3320. So how does it compete pricewise with the new Mitsubishi 23 hp factory cab tractor???

A better question, why not go with a Toolcat at this point?
Why Toolcat? - Toolcat 5600 and 5610 Utility Work Machines - Bobcat Company

Ever price a Toolcat. At least up here in my area you could never get a Toolcat (with no implements) for the price of a 2320 with the $7000.00 cab and a loader/snowblower installed.
A 3320 would be nice for sure, but a little big for someone with an average size yard that wants to mow grass in an air conditioned cab.

The only curved section of glass was the back window. I don't know if air would be a large consideration for me but I do like the amount of glass for a good view. This cab will ring the bell between 3 - 35 hundred when you figure shipping and tax.
I have seen some mighty fine home built cabs here built for less than a grand. I could see the cost on a larger say 55 hp machine where you have alot of time involved with bigger tasks. I guess it boils down to if your a buyer or builder. Deere and several aftermarket manufacturers build some very functional and stylish cabs.

Also the Kubota B3030 Cab...it's not much bigger thet the 2x20's, and smaller than the 3x20's...

I think you're about $1500-2k low...

Dunno about how it competes with the price of the TYM, but IMO while the TYM cab is a factory option its not a "factory" cab...its just an aftermarket cab built for TYM to slap on a standard open station tractor. Just like the "Factory" cab available for Kubota front mount mowers...says right on the SN# Tag..."Built Exclusively for Kubota by Curtis Cabs Inc."
IMO the only thing factory about those cabs is cab warranty issues are handled by your dealer and the door key matches your ignition key.

Alot goes into making a "REAL" Cab tractor....There is a big difference between a true Cab Tractor and an open station machine with a cab built/bought for it....

Just thought I would clarify some issues on this thread I started awhile back.

1) The white unit on top of the cab is the optional high outlput heater 39,000 btu and pressurizer. The regular 19,000 btu heater /optional 16,000 btu ac fits under the roof (at least mine does).

2) The doors are curved glass, not flat.

Spudland Dave, it would be great if Deere offered an aircondltioned factory cab for the 2320. It would undoubtedly be quieter than this Laurin cab too, problem is Deere doesn't offer it. Doesn't do us much good if it isn't available.

If I had not bought the Laurin cab and added the ac for my 110tlb I would still be waiting for five years. When I bought the 4520 I bought the available factory cab which is much quieter.

Deere's on the money, here.... There's no market for 2000 series cabs! What the heck is Laurin thinking?

(Maybe we need a "near-hypothermia" thread for all those JD 2000 series owner's that spent many days these past several weeks plowing snow in their open-station 2000 tractors. :D :D )

Bite your tongue!!!! On this forum a 5525 wouldn't even be too big to mow 1/4 an acre... :)

Hey, I mowed 6 acres with my 3320 and now have a 4720 to mow it. (Also snowblowing, lot work, loading, etc. ) :)

Remember, on here no tool is EVER too big for the job. :)

Deere already makes a 20 series with a cab, just no AC over in the UK. They've been making it for a while. They used to offer basically the 2320/2520/2720 with a cab.

Commercial 20 Series Compact Utility Tractors from John Deere

I'd scoop one up in a heartbeat over here if they offered one with A/C over here.

I found the solution for my open station winter problems.... gerbing.

They make heated jacket liners & gloves for power sports use (motorcycle, snowmobile etc...)

Most comfortable I've ever been on an open station in winter. Sure a cab is nice, but for a few hundred I can be nice and warm.
