After reading a lot of posts here for a while I am now getting ready to buy so I figured it was time I join and get some advice from the experts......that would be you all!

I have 10 acres of mostly pastures I maintain currently with an old Ford 600 and we are getting ready to build our home there, naturally doing as much of the work on our own as possible to save a few $$$. For starters I am putting in a driveway that will be roughly 1300' in length, fortunately it is a mostly clay base and really no brush clearing to do , just topsoil removal and stone base. After that is in the real fun begins, building the house, putting in the lawn/landscape and maintaining everything.
So, I currently have a 5' brushhog, post-hole auger, flail mower, post-pounder, and log splitter(running off hyrdo's), for the old Ford. I do not plan to sell the old Ford but I am looking for a tractor with front loader, grapple rake (some wooded area to clear), eventually a backhoe (to help maintain pond), and to eventually mow at least 5 acres of grass with. I am thinking 35hp-40hp and leaning more towards the 40hp.
So, which way would you go...35hp or 40hp...less or more?
Thanks in advance
