Those tillers are very expensive so the price for that set-up doesn't sound bad at all (if you can negotiate thats even better). Even though the tractor may not be in the best shape its something that can possible be upgraded in a couple years...perhaps with a 3000 series with diff lock and the cast iron rear end. As for the performance of the tiller, I know a couple people that have them and love how it works up the ground. The only problem is when it starts to get into clay the hydraulics slow down, but overall it should work fine.
