maupin, I purchased a 2000 NH 1920 w/ 7308 loader (68" bucket), 758C backhoe (16" HD bucket), and turf (R-3) tires with 72 hours on it for $17,000 in Jan 2002. It was purchased in Oct 2000 and was also garage kept. Bill C

If it checks out fine and has the 12x12 shuttle tranny then it is a good price. I was never a big fan of the 12/4 tranny. I put a lot of hours on both and the shuttle of the 12x12 is great. My only problem was that I had to get use to the shuttle on the dash compared to the left of the seat on my TN. The 12x4 is a good tranny still but I would dispise it for loader work. It is a good tranny for doing field work. The hours are not that bad either. If it was in my area it would be sold already. My dealer has a 1920 w/ 7308 loader and curtis cab that was a landscapers tractor. It shows the abuse and has a lot more hours then yours and he sold it for over $15k in WNY. I paid $16k for mine with attachments and mine sounds almost identical to the one you are looking at. It was low hours, garage kept, 1997 model but with a 2002 year 7308 loader. It also had a curtis cab on it (which I dispise, a canopy is much better then an unheated, non AC cab).

Is $14k the best price or can you get him to go lower? Anything lower and I would sign the check right now.

In 99 I bought a 97 NH 1920 4wd.. no loader. excelent condition.. tires about same. I paid 9500$... no loader.. and I don't know what a loader would cost. mine had 720 hours on it.

Id guess you'rs is on the high side... but not a rip off. The 1920 is an awesome tractor.. inbetween a tc30 and tc40.

( i traded it back to the dealer last year for my 7610s )

Don't you miss your turning radius of the 1920 compared to the 7610s /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

How much work does that tractor get. From your recent post it sounds like your 660 gets all the work and the 7610 just sits there looking good. Or do you use it just for cutting your fields.

( I got a great deal on ebay for a '01 TC29D FEL MMM for $12,200 (not trying to brag, but) so I probably wouldn't feel good paying more than $11K (depending on trans, fel, etc)... )

i saw one like that on ebay about a month or two ago was that you?

All - I stand corrected about the TC29vs1920 size... I'm still a newbie...

crk133 - Yes, I got it in December. They guy didn't have a good add or picture, but the deal was great. I talked to him and saw the tractor before any $$s changed hands. He had the bill of sale, and must of needed the money... I'm happy and it should do more than I need for many years.

It still turns decent if you use brakes.. however.. it can chew up much more pasture turning with brakes than the 1920 could!

Yep.. the 7610s is exclusively the lawnmower. The 10' mower is still attatched to it from the first week i bought it.

It cuts my mowing time by more than half.. turns a day job into a morning job.

Thanks for so much interesting and helpful innformation.

The 1920 has a 4 speed manual transmission and wet lines. I drove it on Friday, took my mechanic buddy with me. We both give it a thumbs up. I will be doing mostly field work, just a little knocking down fall olives and turning compost windrows with the loader. The paint is perfect (no dents or scratches-barn kept), there's still a good edge on the loader, and the tires are real good (85%).

I'm going to make an offer today--will let you all know how it turns out. Thanks again.
