dave,
R1 Tires on my 1758 are the larger of the 2 choices for stock tires. My dealer told me he orders units with the largest tire option available.

Well guys thanks for the input. I went back one last time to the dealer that sells both and gave them another going over. We ended up with the New Holland because my wife and I both like the cab better. Other than that it was still a coin toss. Had the dealer tried some back door move for more money I would have been on the phone with another MF dealer before we hit the end of the lot.

Dealer even had it Rim Guarded at no additional cost all washed up and pretty going on my trailer. It came loaded with every option available other than the second and third remotes.

TSO I ended up with a 250 TLA loader. Your point about the loader frame was taken into account. The TLA frame might as well be called a sister to the MF. The loader drops into the half round saddle at the top and pins into the bottom. No cam pins. Appears to be a little less capable on capacity 2420 lbs (DL135) to 2176 lbs but I think I will be OK with this.

How do you make the picture bigger for you guys. I sure didn't try that little see nothing picture.

Jeff it looks great. My Grandpa worked for Ford Tractor here in Mich. If Ford and New Holland were still together, I'd be more inclined to gravitate toward them. I've always liked the color scheme!

I think they changed the loader tower-mount on the new machines. The ones I've seen, the tower on the tractor looks more like a "U" that the loader sits into. Looks like they changed (like practically everybody else) to a "mono-tower" post. That seems to offer less bulk when the loader is removed.

Yep you are right on the way the mount has changed. I was very pleased to see it was so close to the MF. It does leave less bulk on the tractor.

Was looking at a couple of things that I have already decided to fabricate for this little fella. It has no fender pto switch like the MF but the rod to the pto clutch is right out where I can make a handle for it. The 3pt linkage is very easy to get to just like the MF. I have ideas on handles for both tractors. So much easier to hook up from the ground with both little improvements.

I grew up on IH tractors so now I've switched over to the kissing cousin. CIH didn't even want to talk to me about a Farmall 55CVT neither of them had ever sold one and all they wanted to talk was Kioti. Funny how 5 of the 6 NH dealers I went to had one of these on the lot. Plus I got it for the same money as a Kioti. CIH kind of pissed me off. They don't seem to want to talk to you under 150hp.

When I ordered my new Super Duty a few years ago I wanted this color blue. Told the Ford guys that they should do a Heritage version Super Duty in this Blue with Ford and New Holland logos on the rear quarter. They loved the idea but you know how big companies are, I'm sure that was the end of it. Guess I got my Blue now.
