New Holland 3040 Master Fuse Issue
I am having issues with blowing the 80 amp master fuse located under the hood on a New Holland Boomer 2040 cabbed tractor. The tractor will be working normally and I will shut it off for something and go back to start it and I will lose all power. Nothing will be there....... The first time it happened I used the tractor for about 6 hours mowing and then I was disconnecting the 3 point mower and I got off the seat before placing neutral and killed the tractor. I placed tractor in neutral and tried starting the tractor from outside the cab. I could hear something pop when I turned the key, no power. After some further inspection I found the negative battery cable had worn through. I have replaced the cable but this problem has occurred again. All three times the exact same issue has occurred. Looking for some pointers.
